Electronics & Components

Having the right components makes a huge difference in your overall experience.

Receivers

Choosing the right receiver for your system is an important decision as this is the command center of your entertainment system. A receiver serves as a switcher and processor for audio and video devices.

Amplifiers/Preamplifiers (Separates)

Separates offer the ultimate in sound quality. Since separates are aimed chiefly at audiophilles, high quality parts are used in almost every aspect of the build. Pre-amps get better circuits, capacitors, and processing chips, to name a few. Amps usually get bigger power supplies, more heat sinks and a better chassis.

Media Servers/Streaming

Play everything that matters to you whether it is music or video in 4K UHD. (Netflix, Hulu, MediaFly, Pandora, Tidal, Roku, Spotify, etc) It can be as simple as a device that lets you plug in a thumb drive for music playback or as sophisticated as a unit with Ethernet and wireless connections.

Turntables

Remember records? Here at Executive Audio Video, we never forgot them. Go Retro in sound by bringing back a turntable to your sound system whether its for casual listening or hi fidelity quality sound. Don’t forget … Records produce the highest quality of sound, (arguably)

Disc Players

While streaming video gets most of the glory these days, there’s still a
lot to be said for Blu-rays – they deliver better audio and video quality,
they’re ad-free, and you can keep them forever. Even better yet, everything
gets released to Blu-ray eventually, so you don’t have to search through
multiple streaming video subscriptions to find your favorite obscure TV
show or movie.

CD Players

The CD was released in 1982, and for a while, you had to spend a small fortune on CD players in order to listen to this then-innovative digital sound format. Then, in the '90s and 2000s, Disc players became friendly to the average person's wallet. Now, with the rise of digital streaming and downloadable music, disc players have circled back a bit and now occupy a niche of high end, retro audiophile-friendly sound systems.
